April has already proven to be one hell of a month for the good people of Florida, so why not up the stakes with footage of an alligator snacking on a fellow alligator? First, flakka's imminent demise was pretty much confirmed by local authorities. Then Florida's ill-advised governor got a hot cup of karma at his local Starbucks, followed almost immediately by a childish attack ad on the brewer of said karma. Now, in a move that can only be described as nature flexing its ability to both intrigue and disturb you, gator eats gator.

"I was taking a morning walk this morning before work at Circle B Bar Reserve and I happen to witness this 11 to 12 foot alligator eating a smaller gator he or she killed," Alex Figueroa, the alleged camera-wielder behind this oddly compelling (but mostly just gross) footage, said of the gator's dining experience.

As noted by apparent Florida experts WTSP, this is indeed "just another day" for the state best known for its work in crafting and continually reinventing the notorious Florida Man character often found within the first two words of any given news headline. Gators, it seems, have grown tired of sharing the spotlight with Florida Man.

But why, exactly, does gator eat gator? Have Floridian swamp dwellers fallen on hard times, forcing them to eat their own for nourishment? Did all the gators in Florida successfully pull off a flakka heist, leaving them free to roam and eat fellow gators as they please while flakka'd out of their respective gourds? No clue.
