Pizza is already the perfect food, what with the endless combinations of bread, meat, and dairy that come in all one serving. But Pizza Hut is aiming to make it even better. The pizza chain will test out a new series of pizzas that feature—wait for it—a beer-infused crust.

It's all part of the chain's attempt to get in on the craft brewery movement. Kathryn Austin, Chief People and Marketing Officer at Pizza Hut, told The Mirror, "We know that craft beers are really popular right now and we’re celebrating this not just by adding craft beers to our menus, but also by adding this to our pizza dough."

Sadly, the chain will only be testing their new product in the U.K. and only on May 20. If customers happen to be at the Finchley Lido location in London, they can tell their server "I like it hop" and they'll receive the special crust. But they'll also need to purchase a beer with their order. Because why not round this thing out, amirite?

For now, Pizza Hut will only be testing the crust with two specific pizzas, The Steak Feast and The American Hot. If all goes well, the crust could make its way onto the restaurant's main menu. Austin said, "We also know that for many of our customers nothing beats enjoying their favourite pizza with an ice-cold beer, so we thought this would be the perfect culinary union."

Considering that KFC is delivering up chicken-flavored nail polish, it seems like all bets are off when it comes to new food products. A beer-infused pizza crust, of course, sounds much tastier than getting fresh chicken flavor straight from your nails.

Pizza Hut did not immediately respond to Complex's request for comment.
