A Wisconsin man has been charged with first degree sexual assault after allegedly threatening a woman with a knife if she didn’t have sex with him, the Sheboygan Pressreports. The man, 19-year-old Anthony J. Zingale, is pictured in a Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office mugshot bawling his eyes out after being arrested for the May 28 incident:

Zingale, according to criminal complaint documents, entered the restroom "fully exposed" at a house party in Plymouth while holding a knife. A woman, whose husband called police to report the incident, was in the restroom at the time and told authorities Zingale pressed the knife to her neck and threatened to cut her if she didn't have sex with him. According to the woman, she convinced Zingale they should go to a nearby bedroom instead, at which point she screamed for help.

Zingale, who reportedly admitted to drinking on the night in question, told responding officers he "badly" needed to use the restroom and was "embarrassed" because a woman was in there too. When he dropped his pants, Zingale claims, the unidentified woman grabbed the knife that he, for reasons not entirely clear, had brought into the restroom himself.

In addition to first degree sexual assault, the Press also reports Zingale was charged with carrying a concealed weapon. If convicted, Zingale faces up to 40 years in prison.

The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office did not immediately respond to Complex's request for comment.
