Killer Mike has spent much of 2016 on the campaign trail advocating for Sen. Bernie Sanders. But with Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton nominated as candidates for their respective parties in this year’s election, who will Killer Mike vote for?

TMZcaught up with the Atlanta rapper while he was at LAX on Thursday to ask him his thoughts on Trump’s latest remarks on President Obama being the “founder of ISIS,” who would later backpedal by tweeting early Friday morning that he was being sarcastic.

Ratings challenged @CNN reports so seriously that I call President Obama (and Clinton) "the founder" of ISIS, & MVP. THEY DON'T GET SARCASM?

Mike’s answer was that he believes Trump says crazy stuff all the time, likening him to the statements he hears on Fox News. “My thing is, Donald Trump is essentially repeating the same stuff I hear when I watch Fox News, so I’m not surprised by it,” he says.

Mike and Sanders relationship has earned a lot of respect from the youth. He’s appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to share his appreciation for Sanders, and even compared Sanders’ values to Martin Luther King, Jr.’s. In this latest show of support, he says he believes the American people put us in this position to have two candidates who will create more tension with our greatest enemies.

“We had one candidate this year who had a strong chance of winning who was anti-growing war and that was Sanders," he says. "We didn’t vote him in, so we’re getting what we asked for. So we are getting what we asked for—we are getting more war. And if you don’t want any war, you’d be voting Jill Stein. If you want less government in war, you’d be voting Gary Johnson. But if you are voting for Trump or Hillary Clinton, you’re voting for the same thing.”

So has Mike decided who he’s voting for? “No, I have not decided yet. Definitely not with him or her.”
