In the greatest troll of the year, the Bath, Michigan police department has told residents who use meth the department would test their drugs for Zika free of charge in order to lure unsuspecting drug buyers into the department.

The police posted the message to Facebook Tuesday with a very dramatic "BREAKING NEWS" image.

"We have read reports online about meth possibly containing the Zika virus! We DO NOT want this to happen to you. If you recently bought some meth, you can bring it into the Bath Township Police Department and we can test it for you. Your safety is our #1 priority!" the post reads. "Please SHARE so everyone knows."

The post is funny, but the rise of meth use in Michigan isn't.

Michigan police officers have found over 1,500 meth labs in the state since 2013, according to a Detroit Free Press report, and Michigan State Police Sargeant Steven Spink told the paper that Michigan's meth crisis is "a real nightmare."

Meanwhile, Zika is having an unprecedented effect on the U.S. In Florida, where outbreaks have been particularly severe, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has warned pregnant women not to travel to a one-square-mile area of Miami. Wynwood, the city's trendy art district, is reportedly the epicenter of Miami's Zika outbreak. It's the first time a travel advisory has been established in the continental U.S. because of an infectious disease.
