Soon after the Washington Postpublished a recording of Donald Trump making vulgar comments about women, Access Hollywood revealed the identity of one of the women Trump was referring to. It was American journalist and TV host Nancy O’Dell, whom Trumped reportedly tried fire about two years after she turned him down.

“I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it. I did try and fuck her. She was married,” Trump can be heard saying in the 2005 video. “I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping […] I moved on her like a bitch.”

At the time, O’Dell was working at Access Hollywood with her co-host Billy Bush, whom Trump was speaking to in the controversial video. She was also working as a host of the Miss U.S.A. pageant, which was a Trump-owned company between 1996 to 2015.

According to TMZ, Trump reportedly tried to fire O’Dell from her hosting gig in 2007, just a couple of years after he said he tried to “fuck her.” Sources told the publication Trump wanted O’Dell gone because she was pregnant and didn’t like the way she looked. Trump’s camp has not denied these claims.

Despite being five months pregnant at the time, O’Dell hosted the 2007 Miss U.S.A. pageant with Access Hollywood correspondent Tim Vincent.

“What was particularly troubling to O'Dell, our source says, is that the Miss USA Pageant is supposed to embody more than just how a woman looks in a bikini,” TMZ wrote.

O’Dell has yet to speak publicly about the newly discovered recording.
