A social media post has cost another person a job, this time a teacher aide in Georgia who called First Lady Michelle Obama "a gorilla" on more than one occasion. Pennsylvania police just fired one officer for posting a photo of herself on Snapchat in which she used the n-word.

The now fired teacher's aide, Jane Wood Allen, worked at Gainesville's Chestatee Elementary. In one post Allen shared an article about the First Lady from a conservative news site writing how the First Lady should focus on getting a makeover, adding that she should do something about her hair. Allen called the First Lady "a gorilla" again in a response to Facebook page Opposing Views after Allen was asked if she admired the First Lady.

"I admire a gorilla more than I admire her. (Wait, I forgot. She is a gorilla)!" wrote Allen according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. "...She is the worst example of a First Lady ever! (Or sorry, I meant gorilla, not First Lady)!" Allen added. Allen was fired after an investigation into the posts which were highly circulated on social media. Allen's Facebook page has been taken down.

The school district for which Allen worked for officially announced she was fired on Monday in a Facebook post:

"Effective Monday, Oct. 3, Jane Wood Allen has been relieved from duty and is no longer an employee of Forsyth County Schools. Racism and discrimination are not tolerated in our school district. We are committed to ongoing staff training on the acceptance of all individuals."
