If tuna in a can wasn't unappetizing already, this will probably make you never want to eat the canned dish again. A half-naked British man was found dead at a Spanish airport on Oct. 21, with his genitals severed and stuffed into a can of tuna and slices of ham placed on each buttock, according to Spanish officials.

Authorities say the victim, identified as Steven Allford, was discovered face-down on a bench outside of the Spanish airport, with his hands and feet bound by cables and his pants pulled down. Preliminary reports indicated that the man died of asphyxiation when he choked on his own vomit after drinking a great amount of alcohol, according to the Daily Mail. "There were no obvious signs of violence on his body, but the position he was found in suggested foul play," a source told the publication. "It is not known if what happened was done after or before death."

Allford had reportedly suffered from schizophrenia and alcoholism and had regularly begged for money in the area, the Spanish publication Sur reported. Detectives assigned to the case were looking into whether Allford was a victim of hobophobia—a fear or hostility toward homeless people. Further tests were run in order to determine whether the victim may have been sexually assaulted before he died.

It is unclear what originally brought Allford to the airport prior to his death. Authorities are still reviewing airport surveillance videos to search for clues in the disturbing case.
