Toronto restaurant chain, La Carnita, has caused a bit of a stir on social media. The Mexican eatery took to their Instagram account yesterday, and captioned a picture with a lewd, Donald Trump-inspired quote. After sensing an inevitable deletion, users began to snapshot the photo. The caption in question, "What if Donald said, grab her by the taco", was quickly called out in the comment thread. You can see the screen grab of the post below, via Twitter user Jen Agg.

The offensive caption is of course, in reference to the recently surfaced 2005 comments Trump made - joking about touching women without consent. La Carnita's picture was removed shortly after posting, but not before customers, and even fellow restaurateurs, made their mistake known. Since the incident, La Carnita made an initial, though brief, apology on their Twitter account. The company has since released a lengthier one on their official Facebook page.

In their apology, the chain promised to issue sensitivity training, and intends to donate a portion of their sales to charities which empower women and prevent violence. La Carnita outlined this promise, and according to its president Andrew Richmond, are "trying to do the right thing to remedy and prevent this from happening again".
