Seen any creepy-ass clowns recently? Probably so. However, much like your favorite Insane Clown Posse songs, the stories behind most of these creepy-ass clown sightings are simply too ridiculous to be taken seriously. But what in the name of Shaggy 2 Dope are you supposed to do if you actually do happen to bump into an actual nefarious clown on your way to, say, an unsanctioned Juggalos convention?

You could ask this clown about magnets or, as experts recommend, you could follow the advice of fellow Twitter users. Uniting behind the hashtag #IfISeeAClown, concerned humans have put their best GIFs and anti-clown tactics forward in the name of public safety:

But not everyone was so, um, confident. Others kept their #IfISeeAClown predictions more realistic:

A few brave souls aren't even stressed about the nation's growing clown epidemic, as they regularly encounter a different variety of clowns on a daily basis:

At any rate, the non-creepy clowns of the world would like a word. "I was at an Octoberfest in the Northeast and a little boy about eight looked at me asked, 'Are you going to kill me?'" Bubbles, a non-creepy clown, toldWPVI-TV Monday. Bubbles, whose real name is Joyce Meder, added that all these creepy clown pranksters would be better off doing something less, you know, creepy. "Take all that energy and put it into positive things!" Bubbles said. "Go volunteer!"
