We just wrapped up Halloween, a holiday that makes it incredibly easy to score some candy. But sometimes you just need candy so badly that you're willing to take extreme measures to get it. In fact, just recently, somebody wanted a Kit Kat bar so badly that they broke into a car—and then left a note apologizing.

Hunter Jobbins left his car—with a Kit Kat bar in his cup holder—outside of his dorm for just 15 minutes. When he came back, the Kit Kat was gone, replaced by a handwritten note on a napkin. In a tweet that's been retweeted 160,000 times and counting, Jobbins shared the note:

The note explained in sloppy handwriting: "Saw Kit Kat in your cup holder. I love Kit Kats so I checked your door and it was unlocked. Did not take anything other than the Kit Kat. I am sorry and hungry."

According to the Kansas State Collegian, Jobbins is a sophomore at Kansas State University, where he studies athletic training.

Jobbins told Metro, "When I came across it at first I was kinda upset and wondering what happened to my Kit Kat, then I realized how funny it was that it happened so my frustration turned into laughter."

But don't feel too bad for Jobbins; Kit Kat has offered to replace his stolen candy bar:

Granted (as the note pointed out) the door was unlocked, so give the thief a break... a break of that Kit Kat bar:
