A man has been reportedly accused of killing a woman he met on Tinder and later dissolving her body with acid because she refused to have sex with him, according to the Daily Mail.

The suspect, 26-year-old Emmanuel Delani Valdez Bocanegra, was questioned by police after friends and family of 26-year-old Francia Ruth Ibarra reported her missing Dec. 3. Remains of human bones were reportedly found in bin bags on his apartment balcony beside canisters of caustic soda and hydrochloric acid. About two weeks after the woman's disappearance, the family received the DNA results confirming that the material recovered from the bin bags matched Ibarra's DNA. Her clothes were also found in a bag inside his apartment.

The pair reportedly met through Tinder and had met up several times over the few months leading up to Ibarra's disappearance. Ibarra had made plans that day to meet up with a friend at the movies, but she never showed up. Her friends then reportedly turned to her social media to locate her. They then discovered that she'd been spending with Bocangegra, who was a former student at their university, according to local news outlets.

Police reportedly tracked Bocanegra to Mexico City and have since arrested him. We will continue to update as more information becomes available.
