Look, we get it. Stepping into the cold and snowy outdoors seems like a pretty daunting task. You're on your winter holidays, and that electric fireplace and hot chocolate have morphed into your new best friends. Heck, you've just started that Netflix show, The OA, and you're itching for a nice marathon from the comfort of your own couch (or bed, we won't judge you). We understand all of this, but if you're reading this and you're a proud Canadian, then it's time to embrace your national pastime: winter sports.

No, no, we're not talking about strapping on some skates and grabbing a hockey stick - although with the icy streets, you can do that too. We're talking about everyone's favourite downhill adventure, tobogganing. Remember when you were a kid, and you weren't afraid of crashing into a tree head first? Well, it's time to embrace that same fearlessness, by hopping onto your old sled. Tobogganing is some of the most fun you can have on your winter break, and it's something you can do almost anywhere you live. If it's been too long since you last slid down a hill on a piece of wood, don't worry, the fine folks at Reddit have you covered.

Earlier this week, a Reddit user named, yoordoengitrong, created a thread asking for everyone's favourite toboggan hill in Canada. The response was incredible, and after a few hours, people all over the place were pinning their go-to spots in the country. If you're itching for a little fun, take a peek at the map below.

The map spans from British Columbia, all the way to Newfoundland. There's even a pinned location in a "mountain area" in Iqaluit. That particular hill we advise visiting at your own risk. In the meantime, happy tobogganing. Just make sure if you do participate in the fun, don't be that guy with the tricked out sled that features a steering wheel and racing stripes - you're not Dale Earnhardt Jr.
