In a row of coincidences that ultimately mean nothing, but would undoubtedly make the most superstitious amongst us crap themselves, Flight 666 for Helsinki (HEL) took off from Denmark to Finland on Friday morning. As you may have inferred, it got to its destination unharmed.

The flight tested the limits of hexakosioihexekontahexaphobics (people afraid of the number 666) as well as Triskaidekaphobics (people afraid of the number 13) as the passenger jet transporting the travelers took off at 13 P.M. local time, and is 13 years old. Oh, in case you didn't notice, it's also Friday the 13th. Lotta freakin' coincidences here:

Not surprisingly, this flight has been going on for years. However, according to Finnair, taking flights on Friday the 13th's has become very popular for thrill seekers who apparently no longer get adrenaline jolts from the air travel norm, including turbulence and suspicious packages.

"It has been quite a joke among the pilots. I'm not a superstitious man. It's only a coincidence for me," pilot Juha-Pekka Keidasto previously told RT during the most recent Friday the 13th flight, which took place last May. "If there's some passenger who is anxious about this 666, our cabin crew is always happy to help them."

Your next chance to get in on a Friday the 13th flight will be in October. Book your expensive trip to Copenhagen now.
