Footage of a toddler saving his twin brother from a fallen dresser is going viral. Two-year-old Bowdy Shoff was captured on home surveillance video freeing his brother Brock like a total badass, CNNreported Tuesday. Ricky Shoff, the twins' father, said the family was reluctant to share the video at first. But then the potential importance of the toddler rescue, which took place Friday, started to sink in.

"We were hesitant to post this video initially," Ricky Shoff told CNN Tuesday, "but a lot of parents have probably made the same mistake that we made, (they) don't have their furniture secure or bolted to a wall." The Shoff family home in Orem, Utah is childproof, he added, so he never imagined this scenario as a possibility. "Our house is very childproof," Shoff said. "We are really cautious about all this stuff, so it never really crossed [our] minds that something like this could happen."

The "super mischievous" brothers are usually heard "throwing their toys," Shoff explained. The falling furniture, however, didn't make a noticeable sound. Kayli, the boys' mother, first noticed the fallen dresser after checking the surveillance camera Friday morning. "It's kind of a miracle," Shoff said Tuesday. "It's something really special, to see how Bowdy helped Brock."

The YouTube upload, first posted by Kayli Shoff on New Year's Eve, has already clocked nearly 700,000 views. For more information on making your home hella childproof, consult this handy guide.
