Before being sworn in as the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump limped into office with a historically low approval rating. Based on Trump’s Twitter mentions, things don’t appear to be changing anytime soon.
Trump, who was a prolific tweeter before becoming President, recently posted a tweet attempting to show his gratitude to his constituents. However, sentiments reflected in surveys from both CNN and the Washington Post indicating a 40% approval rating for Trump were on full display, as the tweet featured a misspelling of the word “honored”.
Trump wrote, “I am honered [sic] to serve you, the great American People, as your 45th President of the United States!” and Twitter users began the ethering 140 characters at a time.
Naturally, the government probe into Russian hacking during the election was not off limits.
Unless "honered" is Russian for "dangerously unqualified" I think there may be a typo in your tweet @realDonaldTrump pic.twitter.com/C5MwmCSuGH
Trump's nemesis Buzzfeed also hopped in to join the fray.

Even though the tweet was later corrected, screen grabs documented the moment.

I am honered. Thanks for coming to my party, it was such a rager, I'm the best! https://t.co/bqQ8sWj69L
This was a good time to drag Trump's pick of Betsy DeVos for Secretary of Education. Reading is fundamental.
Literacy matters. We need high-quality public education for all, starting with Mr. Trump. #unpresidented #honered https://t.co/11Hog7tybY
Shall we bring back the phrase "bigly" to commemorate this occasion or nah?
Much bigly honered https://t.co/5w6ZSbQVAo
The next four years could prove to be very entertaining for some of President Donald Trump's 21.1 million Twitter followers.
