An Englishman going by the name of "John Mooner" claims that Google satellites captured the exact moment when aliens attempted to abduct him. Mooner, who calls himself a ufologist, has made several claims about having encounters with aliens in the past, so frankly nobody would blame you if you just laughed at him and clicked that 'x' in the upper right corner.

Still, for those of you sticking around to hear him out, Mooner told the Torquay Herald Express that he made the discovery while trying to view the area where he spotted a UFO last year. He said the image that popped up amazed him.

"I was having trouble with the Google Earth app that was installed on my computer so I looked for an online option and found Google satellite maps," Mooner said. "I thought to myself I will view the area where I was UFO spotted from last year and look for anything out of the ordinary. I was left speechless by what I saw. The satellite has captured a real alien abduction taking place."

Mooner then released the exact image, which you can view above. Now we understand that trying to decipher the picture is a fool's errand. So here's what Mooner says it shows. The green glow is light from the ship as it attempts to beam him aboard. The blur within the red circle is him trying to fight off the alien by punching it in the face. If trying to see these events is giving you a headache, here's a close-up version that will clear things up give you less of a headache:

There you have it, irrefutable proof.

Mooner says the image appears to show that "the alien has blocked my punch and has grabbed my fist and must of been able to subdue me [sic].'"

He further says that he has no recollection of the abduction, but is convinced that the images show him. That might be a confusing sentence for you, but here's how he explained it. "I do remember sporadic episodes of missing time throughout the year of 2016 and going back through the previous years." He further added that "I do remember wearing a black baseball cap and shirt. This is definitely me on the satellite image." This is to say he remembers what he was wearing, but not the fist fight he had with an ET.

Over the past several years Mooner has made several far-out claims about his encounters with other-worlders. Which, let's just say, isn't very surprising. It sounds like the locals are getting sick of it too. From the Daily Mail:

'I've given up about reading about this loon,' said Alan Andrew.

'Oh not again... there are plenty of legitimate UFO story's going on and you choose to cover this guy... can we have some REAL UFO story's please...' said Rob Bedward.

'Been at the Scrumpy I suspect!' said another reader.

Sounds like there's a show on The History Channel in this guy's future.
