A United Airlines pilot was removed from a flight headed for San Francisco after going on a strange rant about topics ranging from politics to her divorce.
Just before takeoff, the pilot dressed in a baseball cap and street clothes, asked passengers of United Flight 455 over the PA system on Saturday morning if they were okay with her flying the plane in her attire. But that was only the beginning of the incredibly odd ordeal. One passenger, Randy Reiss, maintained a detailed account of everything that went on with the troubled pilot at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas.
The pilot went on to apologize for her behavior, citing that she was going through a divorce.
She also delivered her two cents on the 2016 presidential election.
The pilot advised the passengers that if they didn't feel safe, they could get off the plane. About half of the passengers followed her up on the offer, including Reiss.
She was eventually removed from the plane, and the flight took off two hours late.
