Lake County Sheriff Department Posts Laughable Video Directed at Heroin Dealers

Good try, good effort, guys.

Between news of the United Airlines passenger being forcibly removed from the airplane because the flight was overbooked and the report of a possible murder-suicide at an elementary school in San Bernardino, California, today has been heartbreaking, to say the least. So, why don't we try to put a smile on your face by sharing this video which comes from the Lake County Sheriff Department in Florida, of all places.

In an attempt to crackdown on heroin abuse, Lake County Sheriff Peyton Grinnell issued a public service announcement on the department's Facebook page threatening the dealers "pushing this poison." Flanked by two heavily-concealed deputies on each side, Grinnell used some vivid imagery to instill the fear of God into those damn pushers. “To the dealers I say: Enjoy looking over your shoulder constantly wondering if today’s the day we come for you," he said. "Enjoy trying to sleep tonight wondering if tonight’s the night our SWAT team blows your front door off the hinges. We’re coming for you!" Did you feel that chill run down your spine?

Can we take a second to talk about the deputies forced to be by Grinnell's side? Let's give it up for the guy on the far left who went the extra mile to (hopefully) ensure that no one knows of his involvement in this absurd video. We also can't help but feel bad for the dude next to him who apparently didn't get the memo stating that the group was planning to wear the ski mask AND sunglasses. Now, go ahead and skip to the 1:06 mark where they break out the super coordinated walk away from the podium with Grinnell holding up the procession with his "damn, I just killed that shit" stride.

The combination of Grinnell's threats, the menacing deputies, and the subtle action film movie soundtrack playing the background will surely make heroin dealers want to give themselves up. Or, maybe, they will simply heed the Lake County Sheriff's advice and just "run."
