It’s been a rough year for U.S. airlines, and it doesn’t appear to be getting any better.

On Saturday, TMZ posted a video that shows a Delta pilot striking a woman at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.  The shocking footage begins with two female passengers getting into a physical altercation in the jetway. After pulling each other to the ground, you can hear a man shout “knock it off,” before the pilot approaches the women in an apparent attempt to break up the fight. As he tries to separate the passengers, the pilot is seen striking one of them in the arm and then walking out of the frame.

The video was reportedly filmed on April 21 and was immediately investigated by Delta officials. Though the pilot was temporarily suspended, the airline concluded he was not in the wrong and was simply trying to “deescalated an altercation.”

“We became aware of this incident and a video last week and immediately removed the pilot from duty while we completed a thorough investigation,” a Delta spokesperson told TMZ. “Local law enforcement was called to respond at the time of the incident. The pilot has since been returned to work as our investigation found that his actions deescalated an altercation between passengers on the jetway floor during deplaning."

None of the involved parties pressed charges.

The video surfaced several days after another Delta passenger claimed he was kicked off a flight for using the bathroom. Shortly after boarding a flight from Atlanta to Wisconsin on April 18, Kima Hamilton attempted to use the bathroom. A flight attendant told him he wasn’t allow to go as the plane was in the third position to takeoff; however, Inside Edition reported the flight’s takeoff was delayed for 30 minutes, which was apparently too long of a wait for Hamilton. Once he returned to his seat, the pilot announced they were returning to the gate to remove him.

“It was an emergency and I was very clear about communicating that throughout the entire time," Hamilton told Inside Edition. "We get off the plane and there are FBI agents waiting for me and after their investigation, the criminal side of everything was released and was dropped."
