Breaking news: Chick-fil-A is handing out free food today (July 11) as part of their 13th annual Cow Appreciation day event. Here’s the catch: you have to dress up like a cow in order to get said free food.

It doesn’t have to be a full on "head to hoof" cow costume, though that will definitely be welcomed if you should be so inclined. Any kind of "cow spotted accessory" will be enough to score you a free entrée, including the Original Chicken Sandwich, the new Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich, or the Egg White Grill, according to a press release. Salads, however, are not part of the deal, and children will be offered a free kid’s meal.

This glorious day is part of the restaurant’s "Eat Mor Chikin" campaign, which has famously depicted cows with hand painted signs urging people to choose chicken instead of them. Last year, the Cow Appreciation Day promotion resulted in almost 1.6 million free entrées.

Free meals will be available all day until 7 p.m. local time at over 2,100 Chick-fil-A locations across the country. You can go to CowAppreciationDay.com to find your nearest Chick-fil-A restaurant along with some cow outfit inspiration and ideas.

OH, and if you want free @ChickfilA today, all ya gotta do is dress up like a cow for #CowAppreciationDay. Tag a friend who'd be down 😂🐄 pic.twitter.com/exzUHc1vEU
