In a recent interview with This Is 50, Large Professor was asked about the accuracy of Jay-Z's line in his Nas diss "The Takeover," "I showed you your first tec on tour with Large Professor," which Large Pro says was true. He followed the question by commenting on the original version of Nas' diss towards Jay-Z, "Ether," saying the original version of the song was produced by Swizz Beatz. He also says the original lyrics were much more offensive, and contained a line where Nas rapped, "It should've been you in that plane crash," which most likely is a reference to Aaliyah's fatal crash that happened around the time that their beef was brewing. That's a low blow, Esco.

Watch above, as Extra P also discusses how he helped present Nas to the rap game, the changes in production technology over the years, and what happened when Ghostface Killah brought out Kid Cudi as a special guest at a show that he was also making an appearance at. Large Professor's new album Professor @ Large is in stores now.
