Lil' Wayne's foray into the culture of skateboarding has steadily been on the rise, from photos of the rapper trying to maneuver on a board to his creation of the skate brand TRUKFIT. Now, Mountain Dew and Weezy have teamed up with STOKED, an action sports youth development agency, for the next step in their DEWeezy campaign.

Their first plan of action? To build a skatepark in New Orleans' Lower 9th Ward Village. Wayne hails from the Big Easy, and the Lower 9th is one of the neighborhoods that was hit the hardest by Hurricane Katrina. The skatepark will be open for kickflips, ollies and grinds on Aug. 29.
