Before he steps into the world of the blues, Black Thoughts reminds us of why he has nothing left to prove in the hip-hop realm. Earlier this month, the Roots frontman performed at the Sigma Sound Studios in his hometown for the “Let’s Move It Philly” benefit concert.
Video from the event just surfaced, and it seems like Black Thought kept plenty busy that night, freestyling over every song imaginable. The clips above and below find him doing his thing over “Started From the Bottom,” “Same Damn Time,” “Rack City,” “Fuckin Problems,” “Lemonade” and “I’m a Coke Boy” and others with his friends Truck North and STS.
