We don't know what to make of this, but if the rumors are true, Dr. Dre might enjoy another year as the world's richest rapper/mogul. Dre, already reaping the benefits of his wildly popular Beats by Dre headphones, is rumored to be in talks with Apple about his recently announced music-streaming service, according to the New York Post.
In the report, Apple CEO Tim Cook met recently with Beats CEO Jimmy Iovine to learn more of the music-streaming service titled "Project Daisy." The Daisy initiative recently acquired $60 million from investors and is a standalone company. "Daisy" is slated to launch this year.
