With one tweet, Future proves just how much commercial staying power Lil Wayne continues to have in the music industry. Despite the tumultuous lead up to the release of his latest project, I Am Not a Human Being II, Weezy continues to stack up plaques and accolades. Future announced that "Love Me," the high powered collaboration between the two and Drake off the latest album, has been certified platinum.

Meanwhile, the album itself, which came out on March 26, moved 216,000 units in its first week. It remains to be seen whether the project can sustain enough shelf life to match the success of this single. There is still a long way to go.

LoveMe platinum thanks to da fans...
