Nobody does real talk like Combat Jack. Reggie Ossé is a former rap industry attorney, media executive, author, and Internet radio talk-show host.

In the second episode of Complex TV's Combat Jack Show, Jack calls Black Thought a "rap superhero." Thought recalls the posse cuts he used to make by impersonating 20 different rappers—Biz Markie, Kool G. Rap, Big Daddy Kane, and more—while Questlove changed the beats up for each one.

The Roots MC also remembers bumping into Rakim at the "Great Day in Hip-Hop" shoot in Harlem, and recalls his excitement at getting props from the God MC. "That means more to me than any of this shit."

Finally, Thought gives the inside story of his 2009 BET cypher with Mos Def and Eminem. This prompts Dallas Penn to offer a passionate argument that Black Thought out-rapped both of them, calling Black Thought the "unsung, under-rated, under appreciated, the one that underachievers had underestimated." Then to prove the point, Thought kicks an ill rhyme with Just Blaze on the wheels of steel.
