DANNY BROWN 1

Danny Brown is that dude. The fire-spitting Detroit MC has his own twisted, highly-electric and eclectic if not usually profane way of bringing you into his world. Whether he's goin' ham over some blistering trap beats or giving us a more personal look with "Grown Up", there's no doubt Danny Brown is a rapper with many layers and many styles.

He's had a history of incorporating dance music into his overall sound so it should be no surprise that info on his upcoming Fool's Gold-released album Old has a number of interesting names grabbing credits on the production. Not only does Fool's Gold icon A-Trak get on the boards, but he's joined by Scottish wonder Rustie, Canadian indie-pop electronica outfit Purity Ring, Big Beat's Charlie XCX, and of course grime master Darq E Freaker.  The album will also feature fellow MCs like ScHoolboy Q, A$AP Rocky, Freddie Gibbs and long time Brown collaborator, SKYWLKR.

Speaking on the upcoming album A-Trak said: "We signed Danny when he was an underground Detroit rapper with cornrows. Thanks to his unbridled creative impulse, he is now one of this generation's rap superstars. Old is the culmination of his artistic development and everything Fool's Gold stands for. It's with great pleasure that I present to you the best rap album of the year."
