Kendrick Lamar is faced with his stiffest competition yet as Mayor Michael Bloomberg has responded to the Compton rappers' "Control" verse.

Okay, not really. But the clip above does a great job delivering a clever message from the perspective of New York City's mayor, done by Pittsburgh rapper Jasiri X. The verse is as insightful as it is entertaining, with Jasiri running through a number of topics that parallel Bloomberg's demeanor.

"And I know Jay Z don't like Harry Belafonte/But he like my little brother, he look at me very fondly/He'll never get in the club, but we let him carry the laundry/So you ignorant black folk think he illuminati," he raps.

Listen to the song above.
