Gather round, kids, and let DJ Paul tell you a story. You've heard of his group, the Memphis legends Three 6 Mafia? Perhaps you're familiar with its full roster, which is DJ Paul and Juicy J, that guy who loves strippers and is part of Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang imprint? Well kids, you have some history to catch up on. See, there were more members of Three 6 Mafia, and this is what it sounds like when they get back together.

Earlier this year, DJ Paul announced that the group, sans Juicy J, would be releasing new music, under the name Da Mafia 6ix (reportedly there wasn't enough money involved to interest Juicy J). Made up of DJ Paul and each of the other members who appeared as part of Three 6 at various points—Crunchy Black, Lord Infamous, Gangsta Boo and Koopsta Knicca—Da Mafia 6ix has offered more details about what to expect for its full-length release.

First single, "Go Hard," featuring Yelawolf, delivers on the group's traditional hard and heavy sound (maybe, kids, you've heard of "crunk," a genre they invented?). It's an intense track with impassioned turns from everyone involved. A reunited Three 6 Mafia is suddenly looking very exciting, Juicy J or no. The full mixtape is due October 29.
