When Pusha T and Tyler, the Creator linked for "Trouble On My Mind," it made sense. Tyler is a known fan of Pharrell and The Neptunes, who did a boatload of production for The Clipse back in the day. Hopping on a Pharrell-produced track with Pusha T made so much sense it was scary, and the track delivered. Enter Decon and LuckyMe, who per a note from Rustie, was putting out a Lucky-T EP that featured remixes of Pusha tracks from Lunice, Machinedrum, Hudson Mohawke, S-Type, and Rustie. The S-Type remix of Pusha T's "What Dreams Are Made Of" was posted almost a year ago, and while I don't think this was done on purpose, Rustie posted his remix of "Trouble On My Mind," which finds the bass beast building a sneak attack of a track that on the one hand underscores their lethal bars with repeated bass blasts, but then delves into a funky bass guitar for the hooks. Intriguing remix, and we're not sure why Lucky-T never dropped.

Free download below or via rustie.net, where Rustie also has dates for his current U.S. tour (tickets still available).
