American Psycho-novelst Bret Easton Ellis has launched a new eponymous podcast and his inaugural guest is one-time Psycho-spooferKanye West. In part one of their two-part conversation, Ellis and West discuss film, fashion, and the intersection between creativity and technology. The heft of West and Ellis' conversation is abut the emotional responses people have to art and how youth amplifies those reactions. The youth will soon be moved by their work, as they're collaborating on a film project together. More than just a nerdy piece of audio for West and Ellis fans, this is for film geeks, too, as everyone from Spike Jonze and Disney to Michelangelo Antonioni and Takeshi Miike are referenced. Warning: If you haven't seen Gravity yet, there are spoilers. Listen to the podcast here.
