Sky Ferreira's recently released album Night Time, My Time is a total left hook, an unexpected jab that dresses up like pop but noisily lands in the distorted indie rock tradition of acts like Galaxie 500 or My Bloody Valentine. Its songs are at the same time open, confessional and oblique, twisting around themes like love, sex and personal identity with all the complexity those topics deserve. It's heavy and often conflicted, never seeming to fully come to terms with itself, but it's also majestic.

The video for the title track, directed by Grant Singer and Michael Stine, taps into the same dark, sultry energy that pervades the album with its neon-lit settings that call to mind the beat-up mystique of movies like Drive, as well as by putting Sky in colorful wigs and lingerie that are equally suggestive of sex and danger.

Along with the video, Sky released a collection of three new B-sides that's only available through select independent record stores. Via The Fader, stream three of those below:

In February, she'll head on tour with Miley Cyrus and Icona Pop. Check out dates for that here.
