Rapsody has released "Betty Shabazz," a straight boom-bap cut that honors former civil rights advocate and wife to Malcolm XBetty Dean Sanders. Production is handled by 9th Wonder, who delivers a thick beat laced with a soulful voice in the background. Rapsody proceeds with a flurry of rhymes, even referencing Kendrick Lamar's "Control" verse along the way. "Betty Shabazz" will be included on Jamla Records' upcoming compilation Jamla is the Squad. Hosted by Statik Selektah, the project is scheduled to be released on January 28.
