When asked where he got the idea to name is newest mixtape Black Hystori Project, Cyhi The Prynce spoke about his nephew wanting to do a Black History Month project on him. Apparently, his nephew's teacher felt Cyhi wasn't "monumental" enough to warrant a report. As a response he put together a body of work that touches on conscious issues, flexes his lyrical ability and introduces listeners to his production skills. Peep Cyhi discuss his new joint as well as civil rights leader Martin Luther King and working with Kanye, who executive produced the project.
