So now that rasterinha is officially a thing, it was only a matter of time before some talented producers started messing with things. I mean, this is the internet in 2014 and everything is essentially fair game. At no surprise to me, DAD favorite JSTJR is quick on the jump to get his own take of the sound out. The hypnotic shuffle of the slowed baile funk is definitely there in full presence. What's really exciting though is to hear masters of experimentation in tempo and rhythm expand on these core ideas. JSTJR absolutely does his thing here with "Gesto" and trust that this is only the beginning. Rumor mill is getting thick on who's smitten with the sound and who we can expect to hear music from. I'd put money on more of this style coming from JSTJR as well.
