There are many events in rap history that are either unknown or forgotten, from album releases to deaths to random ass events most of us can't even recall. March 2, 1997
Big L formed Children of the Corn in 1993, inviting fellow Harlem rappers Herb McGruff, Bloodshed, Ma$e, and Cam'ron—who, back then, went by Murda Mase and Killa Cam respectively—to join him. However, after Bloodshed died in a car crash on March 2, 1997, the group disbanded. The group never released an official album, but the compilation album, Children of the Corn: The Collector's Edition, was released in 2003.
