There are many events in rap history that are either unknown or forgotten, from album releases to deaths to random ass events most of us can't even recall. As an attempt to remember those moments, Complex will share an event that helped shape hip-hop in a sometimes minor, sometimes major way. Join us as we look back on This Day in Rap History.

March 6, 2000

On March 6, 2000,  Foxy Brown crashed her car into a fence in Brooklyn, NY. The police found that her license had been suspended for not appearing in court for a parking violation; Brown was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. A little over a year later, Foxy would drop her third album, Broken Silence, in 2001. But she hasn't released an official album since.
