Rumors that Detroit rapper Boldy James has been signed to Nas's new Mass Appeal label have been swirling around for some time now. Boldy himself has yet to confirm the deal's existence, but we do know the two artists are familiar with one another.

With that in mind, Complex News caught up with him to ask Boldy how he and Nas first connected and what it would be like to work with Nas on his upcoming album. We also took a look back at his 2013 debut My 1st Chemistry Set, which was entirely produced by The Alchemist.
