North Carolina rapper and producer, King Mez, has been steadily building a buzz for himself since the release of his first mixtape, 2010's The Paraplegics. Since then, he's opened for the likes of J. Cole, Wale, Big K.R.I.T., and Kendrick Lamar, dropped two more stellar mixtapes, and collaborated with some of the dopest brands in the country.

Now entering the fourth year of his career, Mez is looking to solidify his standing in the game with the release of his fourth body of work, Long Live the King. Featuring production from himself, Commissioner Gordon, Illmind, and others, Long Live the King is, in my opinion, Mez's strongest project to date. Full of Lush, atmospheric production and tight, winding lyrics (as evidenced on the lead single, "Morris."), the album shows a more assured artist coming into his own.
