Buzzing rapper Alex Chapman shares a personal story on his latest track, "Switch Hitta." Over producer Nar's knocking beat—complete with gun shots and sinister synths—his compelling narrative about exploring sexuality shows just how charismatic the up-and-comer is. His Mr. Steal Your Girl/Guy raps have a controlled flow with lines like, "He don't need to be confused no more I can show him the way/He ain't even mention you, never told me he was straight."

The aptly titled track is an entertaining song that succeeds off of the strength of Chapman's songwriting. Between this and his last track, "Chapstick," dude is on a tear. Listen to "Switch Hitta" below and check our the rest of Chapman's SoundCloud here. Expect his forthcoming mixtape, Progress Report, to make some noise when it drops in September.
