If Deniro Farrar didn't grow up in Charlotte, N.C. who knows what he would've become? The man himself doesn't even fathom that possibility: "I can't really say how my music would be if I wasn't from Charlotte because the universe don't make mistakes." His deep love for his hometown was apparent when we recently got a chance to hear the man preach.

Deniro wants his music, the Cult Rap movement, to not only affect people in Charlotte but elsewhere as well. He just wants to make music that hits people in the heart. He also opened up about wanting to help the young kids, especially in his hometown, to discover themselves through music. "I think that'll cut down on some of the violence, giving these kids an outlet, showing them that somebody care about them."

You can catch Deniro Farrar on the "Bow Down Tour" this fall with Denzel Curry. For more on our talk with him, peep the video above.
