Elijah Blake has been relatively quiet this past year or so—at least on a surface level—and with good reason. The talented singer-songwriter has been hard at work on his album Songs About Melody, which will be released through ARTium/Def Jam. Before fans receive his major label debut, Blake plans to release an EP, entitled Drift.
Today, Complex premieres Elijah Blake's new video for "Wicked," a record that will be included on his upcoming EP. Set to a black and white backdrop, the captivating visuals for the Ryan Valdez-directed clip display a focused Blake, who lusts for his leading lady. It's almost as if she has a spell on him. "Wicked" is produced by No I.D., who has been a mentor to Blake since he signed to I.D.'s ARTium back in 2012.
Elijah Blake's Drift will be released later this fall. The seven-song project is set to feature J. Cole and include additional production from No I.D. Blake has also released "6/Fallen" from Drift, as well as its accompanying visuals. Check out the video for "Wicked" above.
