Recently, we’ve been telling you all about Dr Pepper’s One of a Kind Studio Sessions, which partnered three veteran producers—The Hood Internet, David Andrew Sitek, and The RZA—with four cutting-edge artists—RAC, Rockie Fresh, Tinashe, and Robert DeLong—to create three one of a kind EPs with 12 brand new tracks. (In case you missed it, fear not: you can check out all the tracks by visiting here.)

But we weren’t content just helping four artists who are already well on their way to success. So, with the initial portion of the One of a Kind Studio Sessions now over, and the microphones barely cold, we thought it only fair to give four more artists who are truly in need of a break the chance to go into the studio and throw down some of their own work. In the video above, you’ll get a chance to see how much this once-in-a-lifetime experience meant to these four musicians—Taj Tashombe, Jordan Corey, Asian She, and Archer Black—some of whom had never even been inside a studio before. The opportunity gave them all access to topnotch equipment, a seasoned producer to record with, and most importantly, a platform from which their voices can finally be heard. For a musician trying to break through, there is no more valuable thing.
