Beyoncé is known for her incredible live performances, and at the 2014 Video Music Awards, she went above and beyond for a legendary show. This year, she was a recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, so she decided to do something special and performed a medley of the album BEYONCÉ during the 15-minute set. Today, she gives us a behind the scenes look at all of the work that went into prepping for the show show. Although she put on a killer performance, it doesn't look like it was an easy task.

There were several components to the production that made it difficult: Beyonce had over 50 dancers, multiple costume changes, and there were several dance routines to memorize, and during the rehearsals, her set design was unfinished. Despite all of the struggles, Beyonce put on one of the best performances of the night, let alone her entire career.

The real star of the video is, of course, Blue Ivy. After the performance she congratulated her mother saying, "Everybody says good job," proving she's the cutest baby ever.

Beyonce just celebrated her 33rd birthday earlier this week, and will continue on her "On The Run" tour alongside Jay Z. Their next tour stop is in Paris on September 12.
