Do Androids Dance and numerous sources on Twitter are reporting that New Orleans bounce star Nickesse “Nicky Da B” Toney has passed away at 24 years old. Toney's management sent a statement to Do Androids Dance earlier this evening:
"It is with heaviness in our hearts today that we confirm the passing of Nicky Da B. Nicky was a beautiful soul and we will always be grateful for his magnetic personality and loving spirit. We were inspired by his talent as much as his tireless optimism, compassion and humility. Our condolences go out to his family at this time."
Fans may know Nicky Da B from the Diplo-produced "Express Yourself" track as well as "Hot Potato Style," "Go Loko," Please Don't Forget Da B, and much more.
