Jay Z's entertainment company Roc Nation has added Angie Martinez to its ever-growing roster. In an announcement made earlier today, Roc Nation welcomed the veteran radio personality, who signed on as a host at Power 105 earlier this year after leaving Hot 97.
At press time, Angie is listed under artist management as a Personality on Roc Nation's website, which makes her the first individual listed under this category. Others under artist management include Kanye West, Rihanna, Meek Mill, and the newly-signed Big Sean.
It's worth mentioning that Angie Martinez also has a background in music, releasing two albums in the early 2000s through Elektra Records. Jay Z was featured on her debut single, "Mi Amor," which reached No. 51 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in 2000.
