Gwen Stefani is currently hard at work on her long-awaited third studio album, and last night, decided to debut her Pharrell-produced single, "Spark the Fire." The track, which Skateboard P originally debuted during this year's Odd Future Camp Flog Gnaw weekend, showcases Gwen's ability to perfectly blend genres, mixing together pop, funk, and even a little bit of hip-hop.
As expected, Pharrell provided just the right amount of funkiness for the energetic track, combining a number of experimental sounds that mesh wonderfully with Gwen's distinct vocals. With the album due out sometime in 2015, it appears that Gwen is off to a strong start with the project. Stream the new single below.
