Rome Fortune releases the new track "Pure," today which features the MC at his most vulnerable. From rhyming about fake friends to his girl cheating on him, Rome talks about all of the bullshit that he's dealt with and asks why he can't find something pure. "Not only jail, cheating bitches, snakes and lying niggas/I got two sons whose mamas think I'm the richest," he rhymes in the beginning of the second verse. The Soundcloud description simply reads, "A personal track," and there really isn't a better way to describe it. Jacques Greene produced the soft, airy beat that helps amplify the theme of the song.

Check out Rome Fortune at Pigeons and Planes concert series "No Ceilings" at Webster Hall, December 10.
