Hailing from Jamaica, Queens, Yung Joey is an MC on the rise, who debuts the video for his song, "Bout Me" today, which is the first leak off of his upcoming mixtape scheduled to drop in 2015. In the video directed by Max Hliva (who has worked with the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Wake Flocka, Mike WiLL Made It, and more), Joey shows off his street mentality, mobbing with his crew in the studio and the whip, turning an ordinary night into a quite the bash.
As for the song, it features some bass-thumping production from Doe Pesci, as Joey delivers solid, trap-influenced verses with a hook that includes just the right amount of auto-tune. If this is any indication, then Yung Joey is definitely a name to watch moving forward.
